We believe the word (John 4:24) which says that “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

The Education Department and Sunday School is under the leadership of Minister Otto Shaw. Sunday School functions as a training ground for the Saints. Sunday School is for every child of God, from youth to old age, who wants to learn about our Creator, our Savior and our Comforter. Sunday School provides an organized method of studying the scriptures to enhance not only our knowledge, but also our understanding of how the Word can be applied to our lives that we may be drawn closer to the likeness of our Savior. Sunday School classes provide a forum in which the students can ask questions and be led to biblical answers to those questions. We firmly believe that Sunday School is not just for children, but that EVERY Saint should be in Sunday School. Sunday School coordinates the Vacation Bible School Program and various Education Conferences.
The Men’s Ministry operates under the capable leadership of Deacon Jerome Campbell. This ministry works with the Deacon’s Board and serves the church by developing, coordinating and administering an effective and comprehensive ministry to meet the needs of men of the church. Colossians 1:28 states, “That we may present every man completed in Christ.”
The primary purpose is to help men grow in their relationship with God and build deep friendships with other godly men. A natural result of this is spiritually stronger men, husbands, fathers, families and churches. Also, a small group setting facilitates solid and deeper friendships with other men. In Proverbs 27:17 we are told, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Strong men build up other strong men.
The Outreach/Evangelism Ministry is under the leadership of Brother Trevor J. Campbell. No ministry in the church is more vital. Evangelism involves several key actions: telling the good news, announcing the kingdom (reign) of God, and bearing witness.
Outreach provides witness beyond the walls of our facility, beginning in our local community, by seeking opportunities of need where both individuals and groups can provide helps so that examples of God’s love are displayed. Through these strategic acts of kindness, relationships may be developed which will afford opportunity for sharing of the Gospel. Evangelism is the duty of every Christian. Whether you share your faith a lot or a little, the Lord wants Christians to share the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.s.
The Mother’s Board is under the leadership of Mother Delma Campbell. She is dedicated to the work of the church. The Mother’s Board plays a leadership role in helping to direct and support the various ministries. The Mother’s Board and Women’s Department work very closely together.
The Mothers' Board functions under the authority of the Pastor. The Church Mothers’ responsibility is to teach the women things that they should know to be godly, clean saints, effective wives and mothers and how to support the church and the Pastor. It is also the responsibility of the Mothers' Board to help build up every auxiliary of the Women's Department, to minister to the young congregants, to bring problems that arise to the Pastor’s attention, and to reach out to the church and community youth to provide guidance and love. The pastor should be able to ask any reasonable request of the Mothers' board and then look for the results.
Mother Campbell also guides the Usher and Hospitality Boards. The usher board is an active auxiliary of the church. A church usher is a volunteer who acts as a greeter and guide in the church. An usher is often the first representative of the congregation whom visitors encounter when entering a church, and he or she is responsible for conveying the best first impression to people assembling for worship. But the duties and responsibilities of a church usher are more varied than simply extending a warm welcome. The usher is a thoroughly trained leader in the house of the Lord and as such plays an important role in the worship service. It takes a special gift to be a welcoming presence in the church.
The Hospitality ministry aids in fostering a continually welcoming environment for the members, prospective members and visitors. This work includes but is not limited to sending thank you cards to the homes of church visitors; I miss you cards to the homes of absent church members and calling; coordinating meal preparations for special occasions and activities of the church; and presenting special love tokens.
The Music Department operates under the spirited leadership of Mother Tonya Boyd. She imparts her gift of music in working with both the Sanctuary and Youth Choirs. The Church Choir has an indispensable role in Church Worship.
The choir has a variety of responsibilities. Their primary role is to support and enhance the congregation in singing worship songs. As such, the choir becomes an important leader in worship, guiding the gathered assembly in prayer and praise through song. The choir is that portion of the congregation that is trained and rehearsed for the specific task of leading the song and praise of the people. The choir strives for excellence in all that they do.
The Youth Department operates under the dynamic leadership of Mother Rosalyn Collins, who is committed to furthering the goals of the church to reach youth for Christ and engage them in active participation in activities in the church. The youth are busy with putting on plays and programs, serving in the choir, ushering, they are afforded opportunities to attend district, state and national meetings. Time is always allotted for them to participate in fun outings to simply enjoy each other.
We believe that our young people are the leaders of tomorrow and workers of today. Our goal is to inspire, encourage and enlighten our youth on everyday living and learning God’s word. We believe that each one is an individual with unique styles, goals and concerns. Therefore we provide for them the word of God and it’s steps to meeting the individual life circumstances. We invite and welcome you to Celebration Christian Center. The church is a place where the whole person can go and grow, spiritually and physically. You have opportunity to stretch out, fine your place and do a work for the Lord.
Mother Niatiacia Ash leaders the Pastor’s Aide Committee. The committee assists the Pastor within the ministry, serving as caretakers of the Pastor and his family in all areas of their lives with the love of God, ensuring their needs are met at all times. The committee provides the support needed to the pastor and his family, whether it be in the form of prayer, encouragement, through words, or other actions that show their love and gratitude to the pastoral family. The Committee heads these initiatives but the entire congregation participates and supports the programs.
